I had a great experience getting rings made at Vancouver Diamonds! For the diamond, I gave Josh the particular cut that I was looking for, and a range for the grade of clarity, color, carat, cut rating, and roughly what I wanted to spend. Josh provided a list of stones to choose from, with GIA gradings, pictures, and videos. We selected the stone with the best gradings available within my price range.Once we received the stone, I was able to provide all of the specifications for the design of the rings along with the type of metal. I am first to admit that I am rather obsessive over details. The end products were EXACTLY what I requested. Josh was extremely patient, helpful, and I genuinely enjoyed the whole process. My wife and I are extremely pleased with her engagement and wedding band set, and with my wedding band. I will be back when I am looking to have something custom made in the future!read more

Wow, kind of tough to express how grateful I am of Josh and his help at Vancouver Diamonds! He was able to get me exactly what I wanted for a fraction of the price that popular major diamond retailers were quoting it to me for. Bigger cut and better clarity, size etc, just over 40% cheaper than other diamond places (basically I was able to get .7 carrots bigger and a customized diamond band for less than at other diamond stores)! I can't believe how well everything turned out and I'm telling all of my friends to use Vancouver Diamonds for their engagement rings! So I got recommended Josh’s shop from a few friends, and I had been to the traditional route of Spence Diamonds and all the other big places and just wasn’t happy at all. I ALWAYS read reviews before I go to any place. Whether it’s a $10 bowl of Pho or thousands on a diamond. After reading multiple reviews the only bad one I seemed to find was about customer service. And I know that often that can be a person vs person situation. Nevertheless I thought I should give this place a shot. From the minute I walked in I felt comfortable and felt welcome. Josh was able to explain to me about diamonds (I am a bit skeptical) explain customization and everything that goes along with a big purchase like this. For an anniversary, we decided to upgrade our original 1ct solitaire ring to something closer to 2ct. Doing research in stores, and comparing international and local online prices, Josh's prices were the most competitive. Going through a wholesaler can be an unconventional way to buy a diamond ring; however, if you're result-driven and looking for the best quality at the fairest price, I would shop with Josh at Vancouver Diamonds. He is busy for a reason! The final ring was better and more beautiful than we had imagined. Friends and family have fawned over the custom-made ring and since the stone is high quality, the fire and sparkle is really exquisite. The craftsmanship of the band was really well executed, too. Just wanted to share my experience with Vancouver Diamonds. I had shopped around at a bunch of shops for an engagement ring and honestly, was not impressed with the prices I was being offered. Even for some shops the service provided wasn't so welcoming during the browsing and inquiring process. I am glad I had come across Josh as he was able to offer me a much better price for a larger and better quality diamond that met my budget that many shops could not offer. Felt comfortable during the whole process as he does really work with you to design the ring you are trying to customize. What struck me the 1st instance I met Josh was the empathy he has for his customers and the knowledge he has on diamonds. We had my engagement ring custom designed by Vancouver Diamonds and were in the process of designing our wedding bands when we had to cancel our wedding due to Covid-19. A week before our original wedding date, we decided to take advantage of the April heatwave in Vancouver, and have a small, last-minute ceremony with a few close friends. I found Josh from numerous recommendations on a fb page. I was hesitant as I hadn't ever worked with him before. But from the very first conversation I felt Josh knew exactly what I wanted and he was willing to work within my budget and give me a top quality product. His attention to detail, his availability and suggestions made me feel at ease. Within the first 2 days of reaching out to him I was sitting in his office finalizing my ring. He was kind and attentive and showed me various stones and looks. I wasn't prepared to put the order in so quickly and only had $100 on me, which he accepted as a deposit. His trust in me only increased my faith in him. He got my the final product in less than 10 days and I am so in love with it. We had flown out to Vancouver form Edmonton to visit a few short listed businesses to see who could help us find a diamond that felt like it was meant for us. Josh was able to provide me with the engagement ring that I specifically had in mind. The ring was outstanding and I would say decently priced. Unfortunately that time, my grandfather passed away and had to visit the funeral.
