Upstate Researchers Help Uncover How Exercise Protects the Brain in Alzheimer’s Disease

Nathan Tucker, PhD, is an associate professor of pharmacology at Upstate. His lab studies molecular profiling and computational biology. Recently, they used single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) to explore how exercise influences gene expression in the hippocampus of a mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease.
