To join the Pakistan Army, you must have at least a matric qualification with 60% marks overall. To join as a commissioned officer, you require Intermediate with Science (65% marks) for a Permanent Commission, or Graduation for a Short Service Commission.
Candidates must meet educational qualifications, physical standards, and age limits. At the matric level, you can join as a Sailor. With an Intermediate certificate, you can apply for PN Cadet or various civilian roles.
When PAF jobs are announced, you can apply as an Airman or Airwoman on a matric basis. With an Intermediate certificate, you can apply for commissioned services through Permanent or Short Service Commissions. Visit Shaheen Forces Academy for more details.
The salary varies by rank and experience. A soldier's starting salary is approximately 35,000 Rupees, which increases with service length and includes benefits like housing and medical care.
After matric, you can apply for roles such as a soldier, technical position, clerk, admin assistant, medical assistant, or other lower staff categories.

Females can join via the Lady Cadet Course (LCC), Logistics branch, Education Officer, Medical Assistant, AFNS, GDMOs, ICTOs, or in DVM roles based on specific eligibility criteria.
To join as a sailor, candidates must meet specific age and physical fitness standards, and possess at least a matric qualification with 65% marks.
